The Standard Group of Companies manufactures autoclave barrier isolators with 1/2 suits for applications in the medical and pharmaceutical sector.
A medical autoclave is a device that uses steam or hydrogen peroxide to sterilize equipment and other objects. This means that all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores are inactivated.
The use of barrier isolators is encouraged by regulatory bodies therefore the Standard Group of Companies designs custom built isolators with inbuilt autoclaves, connected to a suitable cleaning source.
The Standard Group use of hydrogen peroxide in its vapour-phase status (VPHP) as a disinfectant and decontaminant integrated the barrier isolator, with/without material pass boxes.
Small-medium sized barrier isolators use stand alone VPHP generators mounted at the top/side of the barrier isolator.
Large production barrier isolators typically use integrated VPHP generators that work in concert with their air-handling systems to distribute and purge hydrogen peroxide.
Both Standard Group integrated autoclave isolator designs result in a short, effective decontamination / cleaning cycles.
Our Standard Group autoclave barrier isolators are typically supplied with one or two operator half suits for safe and efficient internal working within the isolator system. We can also supply the autoclave isolators with integrated glove ports, where required.
We can supply the isolator for an existing autoclave or supply the turnkey solution including a 3rd party autoclave.
This turnkey supply approach applies to all types of equipment that would benefit from barrier isolator safety, including Pressure Nutsche Filters PNF, large sieving systems, 2 kilo research and development equipment, Reactors, Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryers ANFD etc.
